October 2021 Patient of the Month: Kate Siedem!

Congratulations to OTB Athlete Kate Siedem!

For your hard work and dedication, you deserve everything coming to you!

Kate is an incredible athlete - she is a 3 sport varsity standout at Oak Knoll HS in NJ. She comes from a wonderful lineage of athletes, with her parents, uncles, and brothers playing collegiate/high level sports - and she has carved her own path in field hockey to become one of the most important and decorated players in the state. This summer/fall, Kate has verbally committed to continue her field hockey career at Brown University.

Kate has rehabbed multiple injuries with us, and continues to her path towards bettering herself through a strength & conditioning program, speed training, and injury recovery. She is now in-season but still utilizes OTB for recovery and continued guidance through her injuries and her off-the-field training.

She is one of the most humble people you'll ever meet, so we have to brag for her. She is an excellent student (IVY LEAGUER!), a devoted sister/daughter/friend, and is as kind as anyone you'll come in contact with at OTB, always taking the time to interact with those around her and wish them a speedy recovery!

This summer Kate represented the USA and NJ in National tournaments and showcases - she was highlighted on the preseason all-state watch list and currently her Oak Knoll team is ranked as one of the top teams in the state. She shows up consistently and puts in the work, and that is why she is successful.

“I always look forward to my appointments with Jesse. I have had multiple different injuries since I have been an OTB patient. Every time a new one arises, Jesse spends time making sure he understands what I need and works hard to help me feel better. He helps me play sports to the best of my ability and keeps me going!!!”

When she is not playing field hockey, you might find her playing ice hockey or lacrosse - or doing something to better herself. She also loves to cook, exercise, go to the beach, and spend time with family. Her brother Jason is also an OTB Athlete and is currently playing in the ECHL.

Kate is one of the sweetest athletes to come through our gym and we're so proud to be a part of her journey.

CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN KATE!

Keep up the great work!
