Everyday, I explain to patients that their physical therapy session is only 3 hours out of 168 hours in a week. That is if they are coming 3 times/week, which is often prescribed at the beginning of a plan of care in order to CREATE CHANGE. Now, if you only come once a week, or maybe even every other week, what good is that going to do?
