Hey, I'm Dr. Aaron!

About Dr. Aaron Silverstein, PT, DPT, ATC

Dr. Aaron Silverstein is a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedic physical therapy across the lifespan. He has experience treating everyone from older adults to children.

Aaron began his healthcare provider journey as an Athletic Training student at Ithaca College in New York.  He gained experience working with athletes at the Division 1 and Division 3 level in sports such as football, soccer, wrestling, swimming, and diving. While at Ithaca, Aaron stayed active by frequenting the fitness center and playing goalie for the Club Lacrosse team. 

Developing a passion for rehabilitating injured athletes led Aaron to pursue an education in Physical Therapy at Rutgers University. While at Rutgers, Aaron learned from and connected with Dr. Jesse Sattler, which led to him becoming an employee here at OTB 2 years later! 

After graduation, Aaron took his first job in wide open Wyoming. In Wyoming, Aaron gained experience treating a different type of “athlete”. Horseback riders, ranchers and farmers posed new but familiar challenges which facilitated further growth as a clinician.  After a year of the slow life, Aaron returned to New Jersey where he worked in Jersey City in outpatient orthopedics.

In addition to his Physical Therapy and Athletic Training credentials, Aaron is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through NSCA. Aaron enjoys using this education to push his patients safely to return to their highest level of function.
